Consent to Receive Promotion Information

You can receive various information such as events and benefits from Link Soft through your phone (Link zone, Link coach app notifications, or text messages) and email. For certain services (like those operated with a separate membership system or those requiring additional sign-up after joining Link Soft), you may need to agree to receive information for each service separately. In such cases, we'll provide separate guidance and obtain your consent.

Consent to Collect and Use Personal Information

In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, we would like to inform those applying for membership at Link soft about the items of personal information we collect, the purpose of collecting and using personal information, the retention and usage period of personal information, and the matters concerning the right to refuse consent and disadvantages of refusing consent. Please read carefully and agree.

Personal Information Collected

You can use most of the Link soft services such as information search, watching news, etc., just like members, without signing up as a member. When a user wants to use personalized or membership services like Link coach link zone, they may sign up, and Link soft collects the minimal personal information necessary for service usage.

At the time of registration, the personal information collected by Link soft from the user is as follows.

1. During membership registration, we collect 'ID, Password, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Mobile Phone Number' as mandatory items. If the date of birth entered by the user indicates they are under 14 years old, we additionally collect guardian information (guardian's name, date of birth, gender, duplicate sign-up verification information (DI), and mobile phone number). We also collect email address and profile information as optional items.

2. When registering with a group ID, we collect group ID, password, group name, email address, and mobile phone number as mandatory items. The name of the group representative is collected as an optional item.

The personal information collected from the user during the service process is as follows.

When using individual services within Linksoft, participating in events, or applying for prizes, additional personal information may be collected for users of those services. If additional personal information is gathered, users will be informed and asked for consent at the time of collection regarding 'the items of personal information collected, the purpose of collection and use, and the retention period of personal information.'

While using the service, IP addresses, cookies, service usage records, device information, and location information may be generated and collected. Additionally, images or voices might be collected in search services using images or voice, respectively.

Specifically, 1) as the service is used, information about the user is generated automatically and stored (collected), or 2) information unique to the user's device is securely transformed so that the original values cannot be confirmed and then collected. During the service usage process, location information may be gathered, and for location-based services provided by Link soft, details are thoroughly regulated in the 'Link soft Location Information Terms of Use.' The information collected in this manner may or may not be considered personal information depending on whether it is linked with personal information.

Use of collected personal information

Link soft and related services (including mobile web/app) use personal information for the following purposes only, such as member management, service development, provision, improvement, and building a safe internet environment.


1. We use personal information for member management such as confirming membership intention, verifying age and obtaining consent from legal representatives, identity verification of users and legal representatives, user identification, and confirming withdrawal intention.

2. In addition to providing existing services like content (including advertising), we use personal information for demographic analysis, analysis of service visits and usage records, forming relationships based on personal information and interests, providing customized services based on friends and interests, discovering new service elements, and improving existing services.

3. We use personal information to prevent and sanction members who violate laws or Linksoft terms of use, prevent actions that interfere with the smooth operation of the service, including fraudulent use activities, prevent account theft and fraud transactions, deliver notices such as amendments to terms, preserve records for dispute resolution, and handle customer complaints to protect users and operate the service.

4. We use personal information for identity verification, purchase and payment of fees, and delivery of products and services related to providing paid services.

5. We use personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as providing event information and participation opportunities, and providing advertising information.

6. We use personal information for analyzing service usage records and access frequency, statistics on service use, providing customized services according to service analysis and statistics, and advertising placement.

7. We use personal information to build a service usage environment where users can feel secure from security, privacy, and safety perspectives.

Retention period of personal information

Our company generally deletes users' personal information promptly upon membership withdrawal.

However, if the user has given separate consent for a specific retention period, or if certain laws require data retention, the personal information will be securely stored for the specified period. If consent for the data retention period was obtained during membership or service registration, it is as follows:


1. Prevention of fraudulent registration and use: Authentication mobile number or DI of fraudulent users (for those under 14, the legal guardian's DI): Stored for 6 months from the withdrawal date. Withdrawn users' mobile numbers (processed with one-way encryption (hashing) that can't be decrypted): Stored for 6 months from the withdrawal date.

2. Responding to QR code recovery requests: QR code registration information: Stored for 6 months from the deletion point.

3. Dispute resolution and customer inquiries response for Link soft (Link coach, Link zone): Mobile numbers: Up to 1 year from the registration/modification/deletion request.

4. Prevention of duplicate benefits for Link soft services: DI processed with encryption (hashing): Stored for 6 months after the end of benefit provision.

5. Reapplication for Link soft (Link coach, Link zone) and prevention of misuse ID: Stored for 6 months after service withdrawal. Registration information for Link soft (Link coach, Link zone) services and Link soft (Link coach, Link zone) center: Stored for 6 months from the application date (or 30 days from the date of rejection if registration is denied).

In certain cases specified by laws such as the Consumer Protection Act in e-commerce, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, and the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, information must be retained for a certain period. Link soft complies with these legal requirements to store personal information during this period and never uses this information for any other purpose.

1. Records related to the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, contracts, or withdrawal of offers: Keep records for 5 years. Keep records on payment and supply of goods, etc.: 5 years. Records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years.

2. Records related to the distribution of electronic documents through certified electronic addresses under the Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Electronic Transactions: Keep for 10 years.

3. Protection of Communications Secrets Act login records: 3 months.

For your reference, Link soft manages and separately stores personal information of members who have not used the service for one year in accordance with the 'Personal Information Validity Period System'.

The right to refuse consent to the collection and use of personal information

Users have the right to refuse consent to the collection and use of personal information. If you refuse to consent to the collection and use of the minimum personal information collected during signup, i.e., the essential items, it may be difficult to sign up.
