[Meet Bickers Lab Coach | No Excuses Director, Mr. Kwon Kyung-sang]
Today's guest is Mr. Kyung-sang, the person who best embodies the term 'Jack-of-all-trades.'
Let's hear about Mr. Kyung-sang's journey in wellness and fitness, from No Excuses in triathlons to the present Bickers Lab.

Q. Hello Mr. Kyung-sang. Could you please introduce yourself briefly?
A.
The man who lives with exercise, the man crazy about exercise.
I am Kwon Kyung-sang, currently working in planning and marketing at Bickers.
Nice to meet you.
Q. Haha, nice to meet you. You mentioned being a "man who lives with exercise," I'm really curious about the history behind this passion. Can you share your story with us?
A.
First off, I come from a 100m sprint background.
As an athlete, I just kept running straight ahead, and I realized there are many truly amazing people out there besides me.
Then, due to an injury, I had to change my career path quickly.
But when I turned 29, one of my best friends suggested I try a triathlon, and that was the first time I entered a triathlon. That first triathlon became a turning point in my life.
In that first triathlon, I think I gave up after just 200m right after starting.
It was tough, and I thought, what's the point if I'm going to be last, when others have already long passed by?
After finishing, my friends who went with me were talking amongst themselves.
"Did you see anything while biking? Wasn't the scenery nice? It was tough, right?"
I couldn't relate at all.
I just kept repeating, it's meaningless if I'm not in the top three. When I looked in the mirror, I hated seeing myself saying it's meaningless because I'm not first.
'Well, I haven't made the effort. I only talked about what I did well and didn't put in the effort.'
So I decided to pull myself together, started practicing, and went back to my first 'self-decided' race after three months.
And then I finished.
It was really hard, but I crossed the finish line, holding onto ropes.
And when people asked to take a photo, do you know what I was doing?
I was crying in the trunk.
I was so proud of myself, and even now, I feel happy each time I look at it, knowing I completed it, did well, and managed by working hard at ‘anything’.
Since then, I've started taking on a lot of challenges. I tried so many different things.
And one of those challenges was triathlons. I wanted to share these great triathlons not just with myself, but with my friends and people around me.
That's when I thought about helping young friends reduce some costs, complete triathlons, and use that achievement as a stepping stone for growth.
From the conversation with Mr. Kwon Kyung-sang, I could feel the passion and ways of practicing wellness through various exercises. I hope this energy reaches you as well. If you’re curious about more of the wellness life stories Mr. Kyung-sang shares, check out the full interview on YouTube!
