Hello! I'm your LinkO coach :)
Did you understand the method for setting marketing targets from last time?
If you've studied how to set marketing strategies, now it's time to hook that target, right?
This time, I'll show you how to captivate consumers!
Shall we all imagine together?
When you casually gather at a coffee shop with friends, don't you naturally look for places with familiar logos?
That's because the logo gives you confidence in the quality and experience it will provide.
In this way, logos greatly help us recognize a brand.
Even though a logo might be just a simple drawing, it greatly influences the first impression of the brand,
and it plays a crucial role in determining how people perceive and remember that brand.
Therefore, investing a lot of time and effort into logo design is really important!
In this chapter, I'll show you how to effectively design a logo,
as well as introduce you to free design tool sites that are easy to use even if you're not familiar with design tools~
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Once you've identified your marketing target, consider what design they might prefer
You've identified the age range, gender, etc., of your marketing target last time, right!
This time, think about what kind of image you want to project to them?
If it's difficult, try deciding on a key adjective!
Design with that adjective in mind, and your clients will intuitively recognize and easily remember it.
I'll share a list of 100 key adjectives~ Take your time to pick the ones that resonate with you

Example:)
친근한 (
Friendly)
펑키한 (Funky)

2. Finding a logo style that suits your brand
Generally, logo styles are classified into four main types.
Among these, combination and emblem types are most often used in gyms~

Symbol (Image)
A logo composed of images. Initially, it may not be good for brand recognition since the brand name isn’t visible. But if used continuously over time, it creates a definite brand identity.
Watermark (Text)
A logo made entirely of text. It helps with brand recognition since the name can be read directly, but if it’s too long, it might be visually unappealing and difficult to remember compared to a symbol.
Combination (Image + Text) Recommended!
A combination of symbol and watermark. Preferred by many companies and brands.
It’s frequently seen as a gym logo too!
Emblem (Image + Text within a Shape) Recommended!
A style fitting images and text within a constrained shape.

3. The ‘KISS Principle’
Not that kind of kiss, haha
When creating a logo, everything needs to be condensed and expressed all at once
For effective creation, there are some points you need to keep in mind.
That’s when you think of the KISS principle!
KISS stands for
“Keep it small and simple”
“Keep it short and simple”
“Keep it simple, stupid”
each taking the first letter from these phrases.
“Keep it small and simple”
The simpler the logo design, the easier it is for people to recognize and remember it for a long time.

In fact, globally famous companies are simplifying their logo shapes over time.
Most companies, like Nike, simplify from combination → symbol as recognition increases.
You can also plan to start with a combination logo for name recognition, then simplify to a symbol as recognition increases!
“Keep it simple, stupid”
While making it simple, it should still be memorable.

Let’s use Twitter's logo as an example
Twitter means 'to chirp like a bird'. Naturally, the logo is a bird.
The meaning of the word and the image fit together, which helps with association and memory retention.
So ultimately, what’s the criterion for keeping it simple?
Visual Clarity
Minimizing complex details or unnecessary decorative elements makes the main message stand out more.
Use of Limited Colors
In logo design, colors are typically limited to create clarity. Using 1-3 colors helps showcase clarity.
Simple Shapes and Lines
Using simple and geometric shapes, clear lines is effective.
Intuitive Understanding
Compared to complex or ambiguous designs, a simple and intuitive design is more effective for message delivery, right?
